The User Settings section allows users to manage their personal settings and configurations.
Access User Settings from the top navigation bar to update the following:
Profile Information
Your Profile Information includes essential details such as name, email, role(s), and display timezone. Keeping this information up-to-date ensures accurate communication.
What You Can View and Edit:
View Only:
- Email: Your registered email address.
- Role(s): The roles assigned to you within the platform, which determine your access and permissions
Editable Fields:
- Name: Update your name as displayed within the platform.
- Display Timezone: Set your timezone to ensure timestamps align with your local time.
API Keys
Generate and manage API keys for seamless access to the platform’s API functionalities.
To Create a Personal Access Token:
- Navigate to the “API Keys” tab
- Click "Generate Key"
- Add a description and click Generate
- You can now use the generated API key from the table.
Get Kubeconfig
Note: in order for the "Get Kubeconfig" feature to be made available to users in the UI, the "RBAC Cluster Sync" feature must be activated. The "RBAC Cluster Sync" feature can be activated from Organization Settings:
Obtain your Kubeconfig file to simplify Kubernetes cluster authentication and access.
Follow the steps below to create your Kubeconfig:
- Select Get Kubeconfig, as above.
- From the list of clusters, select those for which you'd like to create Kubeconfig access.
- After selecting, Download your Kubeconfig
Once Download is complete it will appear in your selected downloads folder.
