Overview
Komodor's Slack app provides a unified integration that enables two capabilities from a single installation:
- Komodor Slack Notifications â allows you to be notified of issues triggered by Komodor Realtime Health Monitors (General Availability).
- Klaudia for Slack (Beta) â AI-driven investigation, RCA, and remediation directly in Slack channels.
Requirements
Depending on your company's Slack settings a company admin may be required to enable the integration for Slack, the same user will need to be a Komodor Admin to start the installation from the Komodor integration page.
Note: The free version of Slack is limited to 10 applications!!!
Installation
- Once logged into the Komodor platform click on the Integrations tab.
- Locate the integration for Slack under the Available Integrations section and click on Install Integration to start, this will forward you to the Slack Workspace login page.
3. You might be prompted to log in to your Slack workspace, if so log in and and click Continue.
4. Click on Allow to complete the integration for Slack.
5. Once completed you will be forwarded back to the Komodor Integration page where you will find the Integration for Slack listed under the Installed Integrations.
Creating notifications
To enable notifications use the Realtime Health Monitors tab in the UI
- Open up the Komodor Realtime Health Monitors page.
- Select the Cluster
- Select the Realtime Health Monitor type
- Create/modify the Realtime Health Monitor rule, configure its trigger conditions, the scope on which you'd like to be notified, and specify the Slack channel you want the notification to be sent to.
- Save the rule.
Klaudia for Slack (Beta)
Klaudia is now available in Slack as a beta capability, included in the same Slack app installation described above.
With Klaudia for Slack, engineers can trigger AI-driven investigations, receive Root Cause Analysis ('RCA') summaries, and approve remediations - without leaving Slack.
