Welcome to the Usage page in your Komodor account! This feature is designed to provide insights into your clusters' node usage, helping you track and optimize resource allocation effortlessly.

Overview of the Usage Page

The Usage page displays a clear and interactive overview of your organization's cluster activity, focusing on node count trends across time. This enables you to:

• Monitor node activity on a monthly basis.
• Identify top clusters by their average node count.
• Assess overall usage trends to better manage and optimize your Kubernetes resources.

The page is split into two main sections:

1. Top Clusters by Average Node Count: A bar chart showcasing the average node count for your top clusters across the months.
2. Nodes Count Table: A detailed tabular breakdown of the node count per cluster for each month.

Key Functionalities

Top Clusters by Average Node Count (Graph)

• This graph provides a visual representation of your clusters with the highest node usage. Each cluster is color-coded for easy identification.
• Hover over any segment to see detailed metrics for a specific cluster and month.
• Use this data to pinpoint clusters with consistently high usage or track the impact of scaling operations over time.

Nodes Count Table

• This table displays the exact node counts for each cluster, month by month.
• It includes totals for all clusters, helping you quickly assess overall activity trends.
• Useful for auditing, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with organizational or contractual limits.

How to Use the Usage Page

1. Navigate to the Organization Settings:

   

   • Select Usage from the Drop-menu under the Organization Settings section.
      

     

2. View Clusters’ Node Trends:
   • Analyze the Top Clusters by Average Node Count chart for high-level insights.
   • Focus on specific clusters by checking their color-coded segments.
     
3. Drill Down with the Nodes Count Table:
   • Scroll down to view the monthly breakdown of node counts per cluster.
   • Use the totals row to summarize overall usage trends across the selected time frame.
     
4. Filter by Cluster (Optional):
   • Use the dropdown at the top to filter and focus on specific clusters of interest.
